Crazy in Love

It was only after the gorgeous Jean mentioned why I havent updated LJ in So long, that I actually remembered there was such a thing as LJ.
God. I remember looking forward to reading LJ after a big weekend, keen to look at everyone's trashy pics and stories. Now I look forward to my first (and struggling to keep it an, only) latte of the morning, every second weekend (work takes up at least 2 a month) and meeting someone thats well..me again.
Its also safe to say this year has been my crappiest, saddest and worst year of my life to date. I'm desperately trying to make the rest of it a cracker. Or at least, trying to make this up and coming summer the best one of all. A mid year set of unexpected curveballs has left me a mess. Close to breaking, but not quite. Better than I was, but still struggling.
I think karma might be finally giving me what I deserve because I just got a cheque in the mail.
